CD
Receiving your course material on CD-ROM is our most popular method (this gives students portability - some even take their CD’s with them on holidays!). The course material may also be copied and saved to a USB stick, as well as downloading, printing and binding the lessons into a folder for you to organise. CD’s are also an excellent choice for people who have a computer but do not have internet access or have a slow connection.
Online
Online students require a reliable internet connection. Our Student Study Zone allows you to view all of your course material online, anywhere in the world. Students can watch videos, read notes and study illustrations on the computer screen then complete self assessment quizzes to gauge their learning.
Correspondence
Course material may be supplied in a printed format. Students work through notes, practical tasks and assignments. The student is guided by a printed study guide and accompanying materials as well as advice and feedback from tutors. Assignments are submitted to tutors for grading and feedback, and exams can be taken anywhere in the world.

2. Level
II - Manual Bookkeeping
3. Level II - Computerised Bookkeeping
After successfully passing the three (3) examinations at the above levels you are entitled to apply for Associate Membership of the ICB under their new regulations and have the initial AICB after your name. Also, at this level you are then qualified to start your own bookkeeping business (if that is your goal) – in this instance you will need to apply for the ICB's Practising Certificate.

Our courses have been written with industry leading professionals making our courses industry relevant.
When we introduce a new course or update an existing course, we ensure that the content is compatible with industry and with what jobs are available.
Our course developers must have at least a tertiary (degree) qualification (there are sometimes exceptions to this rule where experience out-weighs qualifications) and 5 years industry experience. They must also be active in their industry, and experts in their field.
Many prospective students ask 'Will this course get me a job?' Qualifications in their own right won't guarantee you job, as employers look at a whole range of factors when deciding whom to employ.
However, it is important that you stand out from the crowd – to achieve this you need to be able to demonstrate that you have knowledge and skills that are different to others. This is what you get from an ADL qualification.

- Problem Based Learning methodology (PBL) is used in all our courses.

- Length of courses vary from 100 hours up to 1200 hours - similar programmes at government institutions are much shorter, therefore contain less knowledge.
- Many of courses are industry endorsed i.e. ICB, RHS, Royal college of Surgeons CMA, etc.
Sadly, many university graduates end up amongst the unemployed because their courses are incompatible with industry and are not appropriate to where the jobs might be. It is a world Phenomenon! Taking a short course in practical skills or technical fields in which work may be found more easily, is a step forward in making you stand out from the crowd.
